The Mission Messiah program consists of four distinct phases which are completed in twelve months. The phases are titled iron, bronze, silver and gold.
The Iron Phase
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Proverbs 27:17
The Iron Phase begins when a woman enters the Mission. Much of what occurs during this period involves learning to die to one's old self and acquiring a basic understanding of what it is like to experience a new life in Christ. This phase usually lasts two months. As each woman learns to live with other women and children, the Iron Phase brings about a noticeable life change.
The Bronze Phase
Bronze represents judgment
The Bronze Phase sees our women through a period of self-reflection in which they inwardly examine what the Lord is teaching them.
The Bronze phase is completed at our main Odessa campus, and lasts about four months. The Iron and Bronze Phases are six months of preparation which reflect the Biblical pattern found in the Old Testament book of Esther. As recounted in this book, women were prepared for presentation to the King for a period of six months. This first six month period was followed by a second six months of sweet perfume which mirrors our Silver and Gold Phases.
The Silver Phase
A time of refinement and growth.
During the Silver Phase a further refinement takes place as the women begin to give back through service in an area where they can be utilized to bless others. This is performed by matching their skills and giftings with specific tasks at either of our two job training facilities, WOW! Fashion Warehouse or Zip Supply. While in the Silver Phase the women continue their studies while learning valuable job skills by working part-time. This phase is also completed at the main Odessa campus, lasting approximately three months.
The Gold Phase
Final preparations for a successful and overcoming life.
The three-month-long Gold Phase begins with full-time employment or full-time education along with planning for the re-establishment of their own home. Women will experience a greater role of leadership and responsibility. This phase culminates with a graduation ceremony and a celebration of completion.
But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.
Joshua 6:19
The Platinum Phase Preperation into LIfe Practice.
This continuous phase occurs post graduation when a graduate chooses to stay in the Odessa area and further her relationship as she partners with WOW or ZIP to support her family. An opportunity is possible to reside at Ester Place in Midland, Tx. (post graduate housing)
